Samedi, plusieurs options s’offraient à nous. Janina est allée à Oxford et Myra, Catherine et Sonia sont allés faire du shopping à Camden market.
Janina met with Alice Hicks, a fellow service user. The two discussed user-led research, and the importance of giving people who have had mental health problems a place of their own to be with other sufferers.
Alice also gave Janina a short lesson in English history as they toured the picturesque town of Oxford. The sandstone buildings, native to the area, and the students miling about gave Oxford’s colleges a warm tone and feeling.
Dimanche, une marche touristique s’imposait sur le bord de la Tamise. Catherine et Sonia ont découvert St-Paul’s Cathedrale, the Tate museum, the London eye, Westminster abbey and the Big Ben. Nous avons eu la chance d’arriver à 18h tapant pour entendre sonner the Big Ben.
Nous avons terminé la soirée par Thriller live musical qui nous a permis de danser au son de la musique de Michael Jackson. Nous avions eu la chance de voir également Greace quelques jours précédents.
Bref, la fin de semaine fut aussi chargée que la semaine.
